I researched a lot of herbs, burdock, calendula catnip chamomile horsetail lavender marigold nettle parsley plantain pepermint red clover rosemary sage saw palmetto thyme witch hazel yarrow yucca, can i get these in tea bags like the nettle and burdock.

@loltankbo I live in a pretty mild climate so I just air dry them. I do have a bonnet dryer that I can sit under but I have only used it once to dry them. If you use a dryer, try not to dry them to the “crispy” dry stage.

@Wlk4acure The herbs are not for the hair, they are absorbed through the skin. They are mainly for the scalp. But you are welcomed to drink it if you like. : )

corect me if am wrong but I thought the nutritional value of the herbs worked when ingested and it works through the blood – how doe sit necessarily works on the hair when it is basically water and hair is dead material

@penn2pal I used tea bags so I did not need to strain it.
As far as coloring, I used Herbal Essences hair color. I haven’t done it in a while but it worked fine for me.

Thank you for this recipe. Did you strain the tea and if yes how? Also, on your website you talked about coloring your hair, how did you color and what product did you use. I would like to use a rinse on my hair but want natural product. I also loved watching you on the Tara show a while ago.
